In continuation of its mission to promote preventive healthcare and community wellbeing, Sanjeevan Multispeciality Hospital, Satara, in association with the Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Jan Arogya Yojana and the Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana, successfully conducted a Free Health Check-up Camp for Senior Citizens under the “Shri Ganesha Arogya Abhiyan.”
The camp focused on ensuring better health awareness and accessible medical care for elderly citizens. Members of the Senior Citizens’ Association actively participated in the initiative. The event was inaugurated by Prof. Vitthalrao Jadhav, President of the Senior Citizens’ Association, and Mr. Yuvraj Pawar, former MECB Engineer. The ceremony began with a traditional Dhanvantari Poojan followed by the formal opening of the camp.


Prominent attendees included senior members of the association Mr. Sable and Mr. Bhosale, along with the hospital management team — Dr. Sudhakar Bendre (Managing Director), Dr. Sunita Pawar (Director), Dr. Vishal Gawde, Dr. Anuja Veerkar, Mr. Salim Bagwan (HR & Admin), Mr. Bhikaji Deshmukh, Mr. Ashok Kadam, Ms. Dhanashree Musale, Ms. Sharada Pawar, and Ms. Ashita Salve, along with students from Sanjeevan Nursing College, who contributed wholeheartedly to the camp’s smooth execution.
In her address, Dr. Sunita Pawar emphasized the importance of regular health check-ups and preventive lifestyle practices for senior citizens. Prof. Vitthalrao Jadhav and Mr. Yuvraj Pawar also shared their thoughts and appreciated Sanjeevan Hospital’s continued commitment to elderly care.
Dr. Sudhakar Bendre concluded the program by expressing gratitude toward the guests, organizing team, and all participants. The initiative received an overwhelming response, successfully spreading health awareness among senior citizens and reaffirming Sanjeevan Hospital’s dedication to community service and holistic wellbeing.
